Does
anyone who is reading this, remember what there 1st model was (to you at the
time it was the best build model ever). but time has faded that idea of the
best built model ever, but the memory of the fun of building something on your
own will always be there. in this hobby there are stages of progression starting
with the beginner and working your way through several stages till we become an
expert modeler. every modeler I have EVER met has slowly made his or her way
through this progression. that is until I met MR. Brian Brown. when he 1st came
to the club meeting his stuff was typical of that beginners stage. but within
the next yr he has leaped trough the progression of this hobby so fast he must
have skipped a few stages (it didn't hurt him any either) he has even been
published in fine scale modeler with a tip for making realistic sandbags. soon
he will have some photos of his work in there as well. Brian has sent a
shockwave through our little club. with his youthful love of this hobby he
reminds all us old dudes why we got into the hobby in the 1st place. somewhere
along the way it started to be an obsession for some(me rick E) THEN TO SEE HIM
IN HIS YOUTHFUL EXCITEMENT AND JOY. BRINGS US ALL BACK to the reality that it
is just for fun and enjoyment. to me he is our club and all it represents and I
am glad to call Brain brown my friend and teacher of why we are in this club.
now for the most impressive part BRAIN IS ONLY 13 FOLKS
SO TO CLOSE THIS I WOULD LIKE TO THANK BRAIN FOR BEING THE 4 STATES MODELER OF
THE YEAR his growth his advancement in the hobby his youthful love of this
hobby is the reason he is spotlighted. Congratulations my friend.
Some of Brian's work.
