Peterbilt 359, logger from a new box AMT. The
next list is for the main convertion (home made). 1. The frame is
lengthened 2. an additional suspension set from an AMT Peterbilt 352 (first
drive axle), the modified axle from AMT with compensator jacks Italeri 3. The
fenders of the lift axle are some modified Italeri parts 4. build of a low bed
jump-ud ramp and towing pole 5. building of the news logger's bunks.

This is ERTL's Diecast frame/axles Peterbilt 359
with NTFS doubles...don't have the room for triples.

rigging. Photos 7-11 = 1992 Mack Superliner, Italeri kit with
shortened bunk, Mack 500 V8 engine, external air cleaners, Super B crude oil
trailers built from 2 AMT tanker kits. Photos 12-16 = 1977
Freightliner COE, AMT kit with updated entry steps & grab handles, air intake, 6
spoke rear wheels, & 8V92 engine, A - train crude oil trailers built from 2 AMT
tanker kits. Photos 17-20 = 1973 Hayes HD400 Logger, modified MTFA
cab on AMT T600 chassis, AMT Peerless log rigging. Photos 21-24 =
1971 Freightliner COE, AMT kit with back, dated wheel openings & steps, scratch
built air intake plumbing. Photos 25-27 = 1985 Ford CL9000,
KFS cab on modified Italeri Mack chassis. Photos 28-30 = 1969
Peterbilt 358, modified AMT T500 Peterbilt 359 kit. Photos
31-39 = 1971 Chevrolet JH90, AITM GMC 9500 short nose cab modified with scratch
built chevy grille, opening hood, 8V71 engine, & wet kit mounted on an AMT Astro
chassis, modified AMT end dump trailer. Photos 40-50 = 1982 KW W900,
modified AMT W925 kit, Cummins KTA600 engine, 7" straight pipes, alum. 1/2
fenders. B-train decks built from 2 AMT 40' decks shortened to 26' lead, 28'
back, scratch built bridge frame, fenders, & deck plate, load made from solid
balsa cut to scale 8', 10', 12', 14', & 16' lengths, lumber wraps produced using
the printer. The load straps & winches were scratch built. Darin
Mack 700 that I did..I got an old tanker and it
needed work..so I did the best I could to make it look like it had been patched
and used hard..I did some touch up painting and tried to get the color as close
to match the Mack but it turned out darker..I also added a few things to it and
now this is what it looks like done. Pete
Paystar 5000..it has been in my fleet for almost 6
years now and been thru hell..moves to Kansas and back to Washington and
