Just completed a heavy equipment tag along trailer,
it is my first scratch built project. The only bought items are tires, wheels,
suspension and detail item such as lights, slam locks and chain. Took 3
weeks.
This is my fleet of Construction equipment done
entirely of Cardstock (paper). It's great fun to build and is a rest from
plastic. Dingo Sharp - Australia
It's a classic AMT model, but when opening the box
we discovered something really simple. I tried to bring more detail on: modified
stabilizers, additional hydrolic jacks where they were fixed or away, and of
course for the final visual effect the additional hosepipes. Pascal

International Harvester 350 in his classic mount. A
scratch scrapper Caterpillar 327. For this last I'd use some parts from the
bulldozer D8H from AMT, the engine for the puller is a modified Caterpillar 1/16
scale from Monogram. All the body is build with some plastic sheet, like the
tires to, building with PVC and turning with a machine-turned.

I just completed a model of a Galion pavement
roller. It is scratch built except for engine (from AMT Hogan's Hero jeep) and
the seat. The roller drums are made Plastruct tubing. Front roller frame is made
from brass. The body is sheet styrene. The paint was custom mixed to match photo
of old roller I found on web. The roller is shown with scratch built heavy
equipment trailer. The roller took a little over a month to build. Chuck
