Here are some pics of some recent rebuilds I have finished up, both trucks came off ebay and have been completely redone, a lot of work especially went in to the Western Star  and chemical tank, had to re-do a whole lot of it.     Allen Smith

This is a White Freightliner double bunk that I built.  It is a old AMT kit.      Ken Dubuc

This is my R-model Mack with a few changes made, added a second exhaust stack and piped ac unit on top of the cab w/drain hose, front axle off a old International and added the sleeper with the rack behind it and doubled the fuel tanks and a few more things I probably forgot to mention.       Richard Lanier

Grain trailer modeled after the Timpte style trailer, I used a Great Dane Ertl/AMT dry van to build this trailer.  I used IH4300 rims on the trailer, scratch built the hoppers, used wire for the tarp bows and some bathing suit material to make the tarp.  It is hooked to my Pete 359.     Leo

Here is the grain trailer and I have it hooked to my KW W900L.     Leo

This is my 378 long logger.  There is a lot of scratch built stuff on this one. The mirrors are updated to later style. I built a new back panel for the cab. The battery box is a space saver also scratch built. The lift axle, Whit log style slider, cab guard, truck bunk and quick change stinger are all scratch built. The trailer is completely scratch built right down to the leaf springs and telescoping reach and compensator as well as the bunks that are based on whit log bunks and also have stake extentions that turn over. This truck changes over to a 5th wheel truck also.       Mark Wilson

This is my W900L log truck. I tossed the sleeper in the garbage can and left it the stock wheel base. The trailer bunk equipment and cabguard are all from a old Peerless I rescued from a ebay parts lot.     Mark Wilson

This is my 378 short logger. I stretched the frame to 260", the trailer is completely scratch built as well as the cab guard lift axle and all the truck bunks, this truck will also change over to a long logger.    Mark Wilson

Here are some pics of my 24 year old International Transtar that I redone last month. I reworked the dash to right hand drive and gave it a new paint job.  There are before and after pics.       Michael Rauwerda

Coca-Cola Freightliner, the truck and trailer are both Revell kits. The Freightliner got a Peterbilt sleeper and fits perfect on the Freightliner.     Bernard Segerer

The West Legend - basically it was a truck diecast brand New Ray Toys Scale 1/32. I completely changed it. I did all the work by hand and paint on my truck trailer that took about 420 hours.       Marcel Jr Pontbriand

Truck Number 3 is a little different from the previous two trucks...it too was a dump truck/snowplow and converted into a truck trailer.....all 3 of the tractors are pictured from different angles to show the subtle differences in each truck.     Don Parrish

Revell Germany Peterbilt 359, loosely based on a 0/0 Midland truck I saw on hankstruckpictures.com. I plumbed and wired the motor/brakes. I machined the front and rear bumpers, under cab air tanks, 1/4" exhaust elbows, and the breathers. Its aluminum tube for 6" scale straight pipes, and I replaced the kit intake with resin elbows and tube.  Color is "Honda Hamstead Green" rattle can which seems to be pretty close to Midland colors.

Here is a special rebuild project I have been working on the pat 6 weeks and now completed. The original truck was posted way back in 2005.  Here is my update. Truck will debut this weekend at the Fulton, NY model show hosted by Gary Wallace (GW Trucks).
As the weather turns and having a "new" work area, I thought I would share the "little" project I got going presently. I have always wanted to get a "rebuild/glue-bomb" from ebay at sometime to give it that Turbo590 touch.  Well after my trip to Toledo earlier in the month and after spending time with my good friend Jamie (MoLuminum) the opportunity came about. This truck and I have "history" from the beginning.  Jamie did build the truck originally. and after its first "show" it had a major WRECK. The truck was thrown forward wickedly in a dead stop and not secured. WELL, let's say, it didn't look like the picture anymore. The truck then sat in the basement since 2007, until I arrived earlier in the month. Frame in various locations broke, cross members broke the engine dislodged, the list goes on...cab off...hood broke...etc.    Along with being dirty and paint scratched...off to the shop. 3 weeks have gone by and a little progress. Some parts have been refabricated, pieces carefully reattached, when they  could and a massive cleaning (3 times). Weathering applied, a new hood and cab are in the works, new front bumper made...the list goes on. A new photo etched grill is being made, and the final color is up in the air. The "McLucas" touch she is receiving.  New cab/hood/exhaust, fabricated mirrors, new decals, rubber "white" mudflaps, new paint......the list goes on.   Solid aluminum fuel tanks...hand cut rear AMT tires (extra tread).         Kurt McLucas
