International Iveco, Ford LTL9000, and White 9000       Michael Rauwerda

This is my version of a 379 ext hood.  This build originated from an Italeri 378 kit and about 9 1/2 weeks.  This cab, roof, hood and valve cover. (I wish the camera could bring out the detail of the Detroit series 60 logo casted in the top of the valve cover) all are cast by Matt Burnett of Monkeyclaw models.  This 379 has a 372 inch wheelbase, 180 inch scratchubilt sleeper, wood venear and hardwood floor interior.  Booth table folds down into a bed.  The truck measures 35 1/2 scale feet.  I felt very proud when I went to Monkeyclawmodels.com and found this truck posted on his homepage.  Be sure to check his site for all of his other products he has available.  Budd Ricker

International 4072, for the color I used Bahama Sea by Krylon, for me it seemed to be an era correct color. As you can probably see a lot of kit bashing here, this truck got started quite awhile back, just got it back out and finished this week. Built with a Revell Cummins engine, tried to put as much detail to it as possible. The tires are Unisteel highway tread, the 2 hole buds and tires came from Jamie Rahmoeller.  I tried to add as much detail as I could but keep it as a no frills truck as probably 80% of them were in it's day.  Budd Ricker

Here is my Merc actors which has just been thru the shop for a rebuild after damage it sustained after a display. I striped it down, repainted the cab in some leftover paint from my 1:1 ute, added late model Italeri chrome rims and a few other goodies. The tri axle tank came in a bulk lot back in about 03, I just cleaned it added new wheels and did some detail painting.  Danny Turner
