This tractor was a Ford snow plow, as you can see
the snow plow was changed out to a tractor package..the trailer pictured here
was built from scratch with the tires/wheels coming from the extra parts
box..plastic for the trailer was from the "dump body" snowplow, body from a
Louisville short hauler and Evergreen plastics..the air brake lines are under
the trailer and connect to the rear of the tractor so not to become tangled in
the blower behind the cab. Don Parrish

Here is a flatbed that I ran across at a garage
sale, of all places, so I did what I could and tried to make it a outside rail
flat...It needed to be repainted and being that it had no sides, I tried to make
it look like very aged trailer, not sure what it was to begin with. Here
is a few pics of the Transtar COE I did many years ago, and the tank trailer.
These models have been thru many moves and have taken a real beating but I keep
piecing them back. Pete Black
I worked hard to construct this outside rail
flatbed..I got the pieces all ready in the beginning stages at a garage
sale. I almost fell over when the guy said take it...I have no use for it
anymore. I did the constructing for the side rails..and the back..and did the
painting..then added the hooks for heavy hauling in the Alaska tundra..as the
plate shows..its from AK..the axles are from the amt cattle trailer which had
all of the beginning parts in it when I got it..I took the old container and
painted it and made it a nuclear waste containment unit..I tried to do it from
my memory of seeing one of those in a picture some time ago..the decals I made
on the computer..the decals on the doors of the mack are my own co. logo that I
thought had a ring to it..North Polar Express..out of Wasilla, AK.

Peterbilt 359 added the sleeper extensions and
aluminum stacks..Painted without decals with matching dry goods trailer..Added
the wind breaker on the sleeper and yellow lights. R-model Mack converted
to a dump truck and a scratch built flat bed..added to a Mack to make a lumber
truck..extended the frames on both. Another R model Mack extended the fuel
tanks and added a sleeper..Peterbilt cab over added the aluminum stacks and ac
unit on top of cab. Ford cab over stake body truck, extended the
frame, added to the cab to make jump seats extended the bumper and converted to
the AMT LaFrance pumper body with many changes to the pumper body. The
frame was extended on the Chevy Bisen, sleeper was doubled with extensions
behind the sleeper and aluminum stacks, tool boxes added behind the fuel tanks,
windows on the sleeper and TV antenas. The freightliner has alluminum stacks and
double trailer from he U.S. mail cab over Ford model kit.
