March 09 In Progress
I started this truck some time ago. It was
modeled after a truck that was for sale down the road, before I got to take
pictures of it, they sold it. About a month later, I saw it going down the road.
It had a new dump body on it and they changed the color from blue, like
the cab, to white. So, after going back and forth and putting it aside to
do other projects, I finally almost finished it (still waiting for decals).
It's a International Paystar frame and cab from a dump kit with a lift axle,
added a Paystar 5000 resin flip hood conversion from e-bay, slightly custom dump
box from a Autocar dump kit, added a hydraulic tank and air tank from A.I.T.M.
(thanks Dave, nice detail), used the kit supplied front float tires with
Transtar rims. William Saunders

Pete, its a Bobby Griffin KW W900L. I stretched the frame 2 1/4", I did it
where you wouldn't see the glue joint on both ends of the splice. When I
did the splice I did it so the frame has a slit up bow with out the caband
sleeper, so with cab and sleeper the frame doesn't have a swayback, otherwise a
belly in it. Terry Perrott
Here are a few pics of a TAG long trailer that I am
building. The trailer is scratch built except for wheel, tires and axles.
