September 2009 In Progress
Here's another project I started to keep myself
from getting bored with just having one project. This is the truck I did
the "heartbeat" scheme one and I striped it and did this scheme instead.

I haven't built any models in probably 15 years but
now I've got the itch again. This model was an ebay salvage. I am trying to
replicate a truck my father drove in the 70's. I scratch built the long frame,
crossmembers and rear hitch and plate. The Reyco suspention was purchassed from
Sour Kraut's resin products. The wheels are cast alluminum 5 hole. I don't
recall where I purchased them from. The cab's paint layout was a little
difficult to get just right but I think it turned out pretty well. I had to
recess the cab for the single exhaust. I also filled in the steps below the
doors and scratch built the appropriate steps. I plan to continue to work on it.
Hopefully making a lot of progress in the next month. Ed
