Prime mover is an Emek 1:25 scale plastic diecast which I have changed the
wheels and converted to rh drive dash. Trailers are Auslowe kits.

The truck is a ebay parts box, green glass, I spent
the Summer rebuilding and painting the body. The trailer is the AMT repop
from last year, I cut the tandem in half and added KFS air ride. Winches
made from sheet metal, straps made of 5MM ribbon. Load is cardboard
tubbing and cardboard box. Decals by Magone and Brand of modeltrucking.

resin tires and wheels from Jamie at Mo-Aluminum, scratch built air start tank &

The trucks name is Hotel California, 1/16 scale
Monogram Pete. Opened and hinged doors, changed to needle nose with
butterfly hood, scratch built frame, sleeper, stearing box, leaf springs, seat
bases, steering wheel, front bumper and rear tail light bar, I stretched the
wheel base to 260 inches, real wood cabinets in sleeper, with a nice soft

The first is a Ford C-series with a 85' Hi-Ranger
platform that served the Toronto Fire Department. The second is a Mack MR
with a Bronto platform that also served TFD. Cargostar
Peterbilt 378 that I am doing as a 379 extended
hood using a resin hood and using a standup sleeper from a 377 kit.
