Here is my build of a company truck for Bison Transport. A daycab Volvo, out here in Alberta you see them pulling double 53 ft trailers, mine is just 1 but set up to have a convertor and another trailer. The Volvo is a resin daycab conversion, the frame has been shorten 3 inches, the driver side fuel tank is from AMT Ford C-900 tractor and the passenger side fuel tank is the Bills sign pete with steps added to it. The roof deflector is scratch built, the rear chrome splash fenders is from the Volvo N-10 kit and the little mirros on hood are the Italeri Freightliner Fireball kit. Thanks to Richard for the Bison decals and Brad Johnson in helping out with paint colour. The trailer is Revell Box trailer - Sacramento trucking, the rear of trailer is different than the kit says to build...added to trailer are pintle hitch from AMT Gravel trailer, rear mud flaps from AMT GMC Astro kit, 2 hole resin rims with Italeri tires...the first pic is picture I went by.  Chris Shaper

First is the ultraliner, on a re-releasec/liner chassis, scratchubuilt items include, tanks, stoneguard, bulbar plus lots more, the 2x4 dolly is completely scratchubilt as is the scratchbuilt fin progress float.  Second is my custom ford coe, based on a gmc astro chassis and again lots of scratchbuilt parts, the trailer is mad entirely from spares and scratchbuilding.  Next is the bonneted scania daycab (t142) bought as an incomplete ebay gluebomb, cab was cut to daycab, scratchbuilt roof, tanks, plus lots more, again built up entirely from scratchbuilding and spares. Also on the 20th and 21st of Sept I ran the state nnl competition.  Danny Turner

I live in Norway, driving a Volvo FH 12 6x4+2 with a 44 tm Palfinger crane.  Model building has been my hobby for many years, and I often build replica of real models. All three Volvo's are replicas of trucks in the fleet of Svensrud Transport where I'm working.  John Eliassen

1st pic started with AMT's Peterbilt 352 kit and added the wrecker bed from AMT's Peterbilt wrecker kit. 2nd & 3rd pics, built box stock with decals from Revell's 1/25 Peterbilt.  4th & 5th pics, built box stock, red frame and black cab/sleeper to match the Kenworth Areodyne. The trailer is AMT's good old tank trailer but with chrome wheels to liven it up a bit.  Mike Johansen

Peterbilt 378, ladded a third axle to it but other than that it's box stock.  Robert Eller

This started out as a Fred's tow truck but I used the bed on another truck and had this left over so I cut down the frame and made just a tractor.  Robert Eller

This is the Monogram 1/16 KW. I opened the doors and added lights inside and out. The dashboard instruments were drilled out and backlit with three grain of wheat bulbs, the rest of the lights on the dash are fiber optics, Grain of rice bulbs are in the outside lights (roof, headlights, bumper, brake lights, ect.).  Robert Eller

Western Star Sign Truck, I used a Stepp's tow truck bed for this and changed it around a bit and made it two axles and weathered it.  Robert Eller

This is the Reichdrill T-890-W well drilling truck, I used a little bit of everything on this, an AMT Ford shorthauler, parts box stuff, evergreen, plastruct, aluminum, brass.  Robert Eller

Bussing "Wandt" truck box stock.  Robert Eller

This started out as a sleeper cab and I cut it down and opened the doors, made it a single axle and shortened the frame (then AMT came out with the day cab Freightliner LOL!).  Robert Eller

These are from the fallen flag Olson out of Green Bay.  Chuck Kunz

This build is a version of BRL model truck shops latest resin cast.  The chrome breathers are from Jamie.  It was built with a Revell T600 #7528 donor kit.  This resin cast is the best I've ever worked with.  The details, fit and quality are outstanding.  Budd Ricker

The black Pete is an oilfield truck that I scratch built 20 years ago, it is 1/25th scale.  The cabover Pete and 48 foot double drop trailer are 1/32nd scale.  The truck is a slightly customized snap kit but the trailer is completely scratch built.  I have been doing models for over thirty years.  Ron Holman
